Management Development Certificate

The Management Development Certificate (MDC) is the first part-time course of its kind tailored to the needs of professionals in International Organizations. Through a selected curriculum of the International Organizations MBA programme, the MDC allows participants to develop managerial skills in the context of international organizations, and extend their knowledge of the socio-economic and political context in which they work.

The MDC was created to respond to requests from Human Resources professionals and practitioners in Geneva. The MDC can be completed over 1-2 academic years, through a flexible and accessible schedule. To complete the MDC, participants must attend six courses from 24 on offer, taken from the three main thematic areas of the IOMBA. The MDC is delivered in a modular structure, allowing participants to plan their classes in advance, around their work schedule.

Potential applicants should be professionals currently working in an international organization, nongovernmental organization, or transnational company that aspire to a managerial position, or existing managers who wish to enhance their skills with a view to taking on greater responsibility in their own organization.

More detailed information about the MDC is available in the links to the right.
