Scholarships
The University of Geneva and its partners will be offering several
scholarships to outstanding students accepted into our 2010/2011 International
Organizations MBA programme. Scholarships are based on a combination of academic
merit, financial need, and availability of funds. Additionally, some
scholarships may be reserved for nationals of selected developing countries.
The United Nations University (UNU) Fellowship
The University of Geneva and UNU share a strong commitment to
capacity development, especially aiming to enhance the capacity of individuals
and institutions in developing countries. Therefore, in line with UNU's
capacity-development focus, the University of Geneva will offer up to two UNU
fellowships on the 2010/2011 IOMBA intake. UNU Fellows are offered a

Scholarships All applicants who apply by our stage 1 admissions
deadline, 15 November 2009, can be considered for an IOMBA Merit
Scholarship.
Swiss Scholarships for University Studies (FCS)
Through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students
(FCS), the Swiss Government grants foreign students university scholarships
(Swiss universities, Federal Institutes of Technology). These scholarships are
offered on the basis of reciprocity (fixed number of scholarships for each
country) or within the frame of a scholarship pool (scholarships without fixed
distribution by country). They are intended for students who have graduated from
university (postgraduates) and who, by staying in Switzerland, will be able to
further their education and to undertake research work in the fields in which
the Swiss universities are particularly active. Read more...
Student Loans – US Government Programmes The
University of Geneva is a Title IV School and is therefore authorized by the US
Department of Education to certify applications (for US citizens and eligible
non-citizens) for the Family Federal Education Loan Program (FFELP). There are a
number of other programs including Pell Grants, Perkins Loans, Direct Stafford,
etc. available under the same US legislation of Title IV. However, these cannot
be awarded to students studying outside the US. Although the University of
Geneva cannot award aid under these programs, you may defer the repayment of
these loans while you are attending The University of Geneva for at least
half-time enrolment.
US Loans - What support is available? An
American National or permanent resident can apply for a loan if you have
accepted an offer of a place at The University of Geneva. We are an eligible
Federal Loan institution and our school code is 006715. Want to know more? Read

Support from other sources In addition to
the scholarships available through the IOMBA programme, applicants may have
access to financial support through their Governments, Charities, Companies,
Financial Institutions etc. The link to the right provides an overview of
